Key Takeaways
- Genesis announces official pricing for the 2025 GV80 Coupé.
- Starting price of $79,950 is hefty, but the GV80 Coupé is very well-equipped.
- 3.5 e-Supercharger produces 409 horsepower and 405 lb-ft of torque.
Genesis has confirmed US pricing for the 2025 GV80 Coupé. Two models will be available, starting with the $79,950 3.5T Coupe AWD. The GV80 Coupé debuted last year as the brand’s answer to the BMW X6, Audi Q8, and Porsche Cayenne Coupé. At that price, it’s more expensive than many rival’s base offerings, but it offers a lot more for the cash.
With tasteful styling, gorgeous interiors, and very strong standard specification, the GV80 Coupe is an appealing buy, particularly in 3.5 e-Supercharger AWD guise – but that will set you back a hefty chunk of change. Let’s start with the base model. The 3.5T AWD receives standard 20-inch wheels, Nappa leather upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, a Bang & Olufsen premium audio system, three-zone climate control, and power-adjustable front seats with heating and ventilation.

Incredible Standard Specification
And it doesn’t end there. Rear passengers are treated to power second-row seats (also with heating and ventilation). A head-up display, a heated front armrest and steering wheel, and many more luxuries are standard. Classy matte wood trim, a suede headliner, and a leatherette-trimmed dashboard and instrument panel enhance the luxury ambiance. The sub-$80,000 price tag makes a lot of sense when considering what you get as standard.

Is the 3.5T e-Supercharger worth the $5,800 premium? It receives all the aforementioned toys and gets 22-inch Sport wheels, carbon fiber interior inlays, aluminum pedals, and quad exhaust finishers. The sportier model also gets monoblock front brakes with black-painted calipers. While the additional equipment doesn’t justify the price leap, this model has a considerable performance advantage over its sibling.
GV80 e-Supercharger Has Big Power
The base model sends 375 hp and 391 lb-ft of torque to the wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission. Those are strong figures and propel the GV80 Coupe along with gusto. But those looking for more power will have to turn to the 3.5T e-Supercharger model. With 409 hp and 405 lb-ft of torque, the pricier model is the one to go for if you have a penchant for speedy SUVs.

The model should arrive sometime around 2026.
Genesis doesn’t have something to rival the X6 M, GLE 63 AMG, and RS Q8, but that could change soon. The Korean automaker has plans to introduce high-end performance cars under the Magma name. We’ve already seen the GV60 tested at the Nürburgring, and the automaker showcased a G80 Magma concept. The GV80 Coupé would be the ideal candidate for the Magma treatment, but the brand has yet to confirm this. The 2025 GV80 Coupé will reach dealerships later this year in the summer. All Genesis pricing mentioned above excludes the $1,350 destination charge.
