2025 Porsche Taycan Turbo GT Arrives As 1,092-HP Electric Track Slayer
Both the 2025 Taycan Turbo GT and Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach package start at $230,000. That price does not include a $1,995 delivery, processing and handling fee. For reference, the Turbo S starts at $209,000 but it does not include features like Porsche Active Ride suspension as standard equipment.
A Model S Plaid is significantly less expensive but won’t be as quick on a racetrack, nor will it match any Taycan for build quality, badge value, or customization options. A Lucid Air Sapphire is more expensive, arguably more luxurious, and more powerful, but it’s also less focused on track work. All three are different EVs, but they’re all expensive and full of tech, so as unique as each may be, they share commonalities and must be compared.
Orders are already open, and the Turbo GT will arrive at US dealers in the summer of 2024. In the meantime, our ride-along review paints a picture of what to expect.
