Air purifier that helps allergy sufferers ‘sleep better’ has £50 off
Air quality can be as much of a problem inside the home as it is outside. Irritants such as dust mites, mould spores, smoke, pollen, and anything shed by pets can leave allergy sufferers very uncomfortable. We’re talking streaming eyes and nose and a prickly throat, all things that can affect breathing – and can play havoc with sleep.

The purifier monitors air quality and automatically reacts if it changes – for example, if there was some smoke lingering from the kitchen – ramping up to disperse the particles. It works in the same way to clear any cooking or pet smells, while also releasing a fresh scent to minimise odours.
According to Shark, the filter should last for five years, which the brand says can save up to £200 on rivals. Given it hasn’t been out that long, it remains to be seen whether it lives up to those claims, but if so, it is a really good deal. I have a Mila Air which retails for more than the Shark at £349, and I have to change the filters at least every six months.
Other features of this air purifier include three brightness options, which is great if you have it in your bedroom, four adjustable fan speeds and a shut off-timer. It doesn’t, however, have a remote control.
It has many positive reviews from customers, with one saying: “Fantastic bit of kit. Used to purify air as live near an A-road. This is fine if you’re living in a small apartment or maybe just keeping the air purifier in your bedroom to help ease hayfever and allergy symptoms as you sleep.
