Chevrolet Corvette Stingray C8 History
When the C8 Corvette arrived in 2020, it marked a revolutionary milestone for a car that had, up to that point, been on sale since 1953 with the same front-engine configuration. With this eighth generation, Chevrolet kept its famed small-block V8 but moved it behind the driver for a mid-engine configuration.
The Corvette has always played in the exotic pond occupied by the likes of Ferrari, but for a lot less money and with the front-mounted engine handicap. Now, in C8 guise, the ‘Vette is truly an apples-to-apples supercar competitor and one that offers an incredible array of customization options.

Chevy sells the C8 Corvette as a Stingray coupe and convertible, a track-oriented Z06, and a hybrid E-Ray. Today, we’re focused on the 2024 Stingrays and regardless of whether you choose the removable hardtop coupe or power-retractable hardtop convertible, these Corvettes follow the same trim hierarchy.
The base spec is the 1LT and, like all three trim lines, it features 19-inch front wheels, 20-inch wheels at the back, LED headlights, a limited-slip differential (LSD), and an eight-inch infotainment interface with wireless smartphone mirroring. Moving up to the 2LT brings a performance data and video recorder, a head-up display, heated and ventilated seats, a digital rearview mirror, and a heated steering wheel.
The top-spec 2024 Corvette 3LT turns up the creature comforts with Nappa leather upholstery that stretches to the door and dash panels with the option for a “dipped” look that maximizes the cabin color impact. These C8 Corvettes also feature upgraded GT2 sport seats and microfiber for the headliner and pillars.

2024 Corvette Exterior Colors
No matter which model of the 2024 Corvette Stingray a buyer goes with, they have 14 colors to choose from, including nine that add no extra cost. For this model year, Chevy added Cacti Green and Riptide Blue Metallic to the list of standard Corvette colors. Sea Wolf Gray Tricoat was also added to the range of 2024 Corvette Stingray colors for 2024, but tacks $995 onto the bottom line.

Roof, Wheels, Calipers, And Stripes
2024 Corvette Roof Options
Chevrolet splits the roof options for the 2024 C8 Corvette by coupe and convertible configuration. The coupe comes standard with a body-color removable panel, but this can be swapped with a transparent panel for an extra $995. There is an exposed carbon fiber and body-color surround option for $2,495 and two combination setups. One includes a body-color and transparent roof panel for $1,995. The other is a carbon fiber and transparent panel combo for $3,495.
With the C8 Corvette convertible, the only roof options, aside from the standard body-color hardtop, are a Carbon Flash-finished roof and nacelles or carbon fiber nacelles with a body-color hardtop. Both alternatives come with a $1,295 price tag.
2024 Corvette Wheel Options
The 2024 Corvette Stingray coupe and convertible come standard with an open five-spoke wheel design measuring 19 inches up front and 20 inches out back. But there are eight different wheel upgrades to choose from – all following the same 19″/20″ staggered size, from the $995 Sterling Silver-finished wheels to the 15-spoke polished design that adds $4,350 to the sticker.

2024 Corvette Brake Caliper Colors
Relative to the rest of the customization options, there are relatively few brake caliper colors to choose from for the C8 Corvette. They consist of Bright Red, Edge Yellow, or Edge Red, and each costs an extra $695.
2024 Corvette Stripe Options
Chevrolet breaks the 2024 Corvette striping options into three categories. There are the $1,195 full-length dual stripes in Carbon Flash with a choice of silver, red, blue, orange, or yellow accents. For $500, the front stinger stripes are also finished in Carbon Flash with a variety of accent colors. Furthermore, there are the front fender hash mark stripes that add $250 and come in Carbon Flash with silver, red, or Tech Bronze accents.

2024 Corvette Interior Colors And Materials
2024 Corvette 1LT and 2LT Cabin Options
In 1LT and 2LT spec, the 2024 Corvette coupe and convertible offer buyers a choice of Mulan leather seats finished in Jet Black, Sky Cool Gray, or Adrenaline Red. Seat belts can be produced in orange, natural, blue, red, or yellow for an extra $495 over the standard black. The one other upholstery choice is a performance textile in Jet Black, but only for the 1LT.
The 2LT also offers Natural and Sky Cool Gray colors, along with Napa leather in place of the Mulan leather.
2024 Corvette 3LT Cabin Options
The range-topping Corvette 3LT features far more interior customization options. These cars feature Nappa leather that is color-keyed and stretches from the seats to the doors and dash. Go the “dipped” route and that color gets applied to nearly every surface in the cabin. There are also unique designs like Twilight and Tension Blue, Natural, and Artemis, none of which add extra cost.

The Z51 Performance Package for the 2024 Corvette Stingray brings upgraded performance in the form of a manually adjustable suspension, more aggressive Brembo brakes, a Z51 rear spoiler, a performance exhaust system, an electronically-controlled LSD, heavy-duty cooling, and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S summer tires.
With the Tech Bronze Accent Package, buyers pay $3,995 for Tech Bronze wheels, a Jake hood graphic, Dark Stealth crossed flag emblems, and a variety of Tech Bronze exterior accents. For $1,895, magnetic selective ride control can be added as a standalone option, and for just $295, Chevy will fit a personalized plaque with the owner’s name, VIN, and Corvette logo to the rear bulkhead.
