Every Car You Can Have With Yellow Paint in 2024

Ask a gearhead what their favorite yellow car is, and chances are they’ll start listing supercars. When asked about the cars that look best in yellow, CarBuzz senior editors responded with Ferrari 355, Acura NSX, a classic Mazda MX-5 Miata, and the Renault Clio RS not sold in the States. One of the CarBuzz senior staff even owns a BMW that was affectionately called “The Searing Banana” for its prominent yellow outfit.
While yellow isn’t everyone’s favorite color, it’s one that can work really well to help a car stand out, look sporty, or even add to its elegance – and this works just as well on mainstream vehicles as it does on high-end cars. We’ve put together a list of all the yellow paints manufacturers offer in 2024, and the cars you can have in the sunny hue.
This article discusses yellow paints from each brand available in the USA for 2024 (and 2025 models currently on sale). Only yellow paints that form part of the main palette are considered; exclusive, paint-to-sample options are not. Commercial vehicles are excluded. All information is sourced from the manufacturer.
1 Acura
Tiger Eye Pearl
This list kicks off with a color that many suggest isn’t actually yellow, and in these images from the brand’s press site, appears more golden. However, in the right light, we’d argue that it’s as yellow as the eye of the predator its named after, and that’s good enough to kick-start the list here. The post below shows off how yellow this hue looks – which is apt, considering its name.
We love the color on the Acura Integra Type S, specifically, although it seems that the color is being done away with for 2025.
2 Aston Martin
Three Shades of Yellow
Beloved British maker of luxury cars, Aston Martin offers a palette as long as your arm when configuring your car. Among its various ‘Bronze and Oranges’ are three shades of yellow: Ultra Yellow, Cosmopolitan Yellow, and Helios Yellow. This writer isn’t personally a fan of a yellowed-out Aston Martin – although the DBX707 can pull it off in either of those three shades, especially with blacked-out exterior accents, Satin Black wheels, and a slightly less in-your-face interior (unless shock factor is the look you’re going for). The Aston we think works best dressed in the hue is the track-focused Valiant, although the limited edition Valour looks good wearing Ultra Yellow, too.
3 Audi
Python Yellow
Audi saved it’s vibrant colors for one of its most memorable models – the Audi RS3 can be specced in this striking shade called Python Yellow, which works well to draw attention to the sedan, assuming the distinctive five-cylinder sound doesn’t. You can also have it in Kyalami Green, Turbo Blue, and Tango Red, but this is by far one of our favorite yellow cars on this list. We also think the discontinued Audi R8 deserves a mention for how striking it looked in Vegas Yellow, as seen in these pictures.
4 BMW
Spoiled for Choice
BMW offers quite a few unique colors across its lineup, but Sao Paulo Yellow is reserved for its M cars along with some other bright hues – the BMW M2, M3, and even the XM can be painted in the non-metallic yellow at no extra cost. While the eye-catching shade suits the nature of these cars well, it’s not our favorite yellow on this list.
It’s worth noting that BMW offers a wide range of other yellows on its BMW Individual palette – but there are too many to note per model. Seven yellows are available on the new M5 alone, for example, with Atacama Yellow offering the richest yellow in our opinion.
5 Cadillac
Cyber Yellow Metallic
America’s favorite home-grown performance sedans, the Cadillac CT4-V and CT5-V can be kitted out in the brand’s Cyber Yellow metallic paint. It costs a little extra ($625) but looks really good on the assertive, bold proportions of both models. Perhaps because the rest of the exterior on these sedans looks rather unassuming, the bold colors really help them to stand out – which we think does justice to what these sedans can do.
6 Chevrolet
Nitro Yellow and Accelerate Yellow
Maybe because of the golden Bowtie, the Chevrolet brand seems like it would offer a few yellow hues. Instead, it offers just two – but across various models. The Chevrolet Corvette, in its various iterations, is a little more special, so it’s the only model you can have in the aptly-named Accelerate Yellow. None of the bigger Chevy SUVs can be had in yellow, but you can get the Trax, Trailblazer, and Blazer in Nitro Yellow – as well as on the brand’s Colorado pickup truck; we saw it first-hand on our Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Bison test drive model earlier this year.

It’s worth noting that the Blazer drops the option for Nitro Yellow for the 2025 model year, however. We’ve also kept the Camaro on the list, despite it being discontinued, as the automaker is still selling the last models in 2024.
7 Dodge
Acapulco Gold
Like with Acura, this entry is slightly controversial – while not technically yellow, it’s worth a mention as it looks like actual yellow gold in direct sunlight. Acapulco Gold is a $595 option on the 2024 Dodge Hornet, and you can have it on any trim of that car. It’s the only Dodge model to offer any hue that vaguely comes close to yellow – which is surprising, since the Charger and Challenger models are still on sale despite their discontinuation, and those suit a bright yellow much better.
8 Ferrari
Giallo Modena and Giallo Montecarlo
The famous Italian marque, surprisingly, only offers two types of yellow paint across its range at present, and one of those is exclusive to a specific model. While the entire lineup of Prancing Horse beauties can be decked out in Giallo Modena – a vibrant, sunny yellow – only the Ferrari SF90 Spider comes with a second yellow outfit to wear, namely Giallo Montecarlo. These solid exterior paints exclude the special Fiorano packages and split-color liveries you can select on cars like the 296 GTB. All the Ferrari models that can be had with Giallo Modena are:
- SF90 Stradale and SF90 Spider
- 296 GTB and 296 GTS
- 12Cilindri and 12Cilindri Spider
- Roma and Roma Spider
- Purosangue
9 Ford
Pick One Of Three
The Blue Oval gives lovers of yellow three options to choose from, but each is specific to one model. The Ford Mustang can be had in Yellow Splash Metallic on all variants (convertible included) – unless you want the Dark Horse, in which case you can’t have the happier coloring. The Ford Bronco Heritage Limited Edition is the only SUV in the stable that you can have decked out in yellow; it’s called Yellowstone, and it comes with a white contrasting roof and a white grille. Similarly, the Mustang Mach E is available in Grabber Yellow on higher trims, and in the Rally variant, comes with white wheels and racing stripes.
10 GMC
Solar Flare Metallic
Despite having an extensive truck lineup, GMC only has one model that you can deck out in any form of yellow, which is the GMC Canyon, the brand’s smallest pickup. For $495, you can have it painted in Solar Flare Metallic. To our eyes, it’s the same shade as the Nitro Yellow found on the Colorado, which makes sense for the corporate cousins. None of GMC’s EVs come in yellow, although the Hummer EV SUV and Pickup do have the option for Afterburner Orange if you want to stand out even more.
11 Hyundai
Neoteric Yellow
The yellow on Hyundai’s Kona lineup is called Neoteric Yellow. It’s not nearly the nicest shade on this list, and actually looks a bit brash to us – but, if the brand chose it to stand out and be remembered, it’s achieved that. This near-luminous shade does seem to photograph better indoors, but out in the sunlight, it’s a cold and harsh yellow that, admittedly, suits the modern look of the Kona. We’re not personally sure we’d spend $470 to have it, though.
12 Jeep
High Velocity Yellow
We’ve likely all seen yellow Jeeps at some point in the last couple of years, but in 2024, there’s only one Jeep product that comes in a yellow paint. High Velocity Yellow is the name of the color you can choose for your brand new Jeep Gladiator. It works on the pickup, suiting it’s fun and adveturous nature, but we’d not turn away from having it on a Wrangler Rubicon either.
13 Lamborghini
Giallo, Giallo, and more Giallo
Automakers like Lamborghini that build high-end supercars love to give you tons of choice, and in the case of Lamborghini, there’s enough of that to go around. For the Lamborghini Urus you have three choices: Giallo, Giallo Inti, and Giallo Auge; the same options are available on the new Temerario. And, if you’re buying a Lambo Revuelto, two more options become available, namely Giallo Belenus and Giallo Tenerife, the latter having a slight green tinge. We’ll take ours in plain Giallo, thank you.
14 Lexus
Flare Yellow
This writer is admittedly rather fond of Japanese coupes, so it’s understandable that Lexus’s Flare Yellow is a favorite. It looks exceptional on the Lexus LC Coupe – and even more so on the drop-top version with the contrast of a black soft top. You can also get this color on the RC and RC F, and for the latter, it can be combined with an $18,370 Carbon Package upgrade to really look track-ready.
15 Lotus
Obviously.
Naturally, yellow is used extensively in the Lotus lineup. The simply named Solar Yellow is an option for both the Lotus Eletre and Emeya, while the Emira gets a richer yellow called Hethel Yellow. The Evija comes with the options to have Solaris Yellow, which seems like a mix between the other two. Lotus cars suit the colors exceptionally well, in our opinion.
16 Maserati
Bello yellow
Surprisingly, Maserati makes quite a bit of space for lovers of yellow – and across various models, too. For starters, the brand-new GT2 Stradale offers a deep blue as well as Giallo Genio, a metallic yellow that makes this striking car even more eye-catching. Both the MC20 and its Cielo twin offer the same paint, as well as a ridiculously priced – yet gorgeous – take on yellow, called Vintage Ochre. It costs nearly $30k in the Fuoriserie lineup. You can also have on the MC20, GranCabrio Folgore, and GranTurismo models in Giallo Genio – in both metallic and matte finishes, although only some models can have the latter. The GranTurismo Trofeo also gets a $31,050 color called Giallo Corse Quad Coat.
17 Mercedes-Benz
Generously Yellow
Mercedes-Benz allows buyers to put yellow on quite a few of its cars, which is nice – naturally, these are all AMG models that suit the spicy color with their added oomph and assertive looks. Manufaktur Sunburst Yellow is a $6,500 option on both the AMG GT 63 4-Door Coupe and the AMG GT 63 S E Performance. The second option is called Sun Yellow, and it’s available on the following AMG products:
- AMG GT 55 Coupe
- AMG GT 63 Coupe
- AMG SL 43 Roadster
- AMG SL 55 Roadster
- AMG SL 63 S E Performance Roadster
18 Mini
Sunny Side Up
Yellow seems like the right color for cutesy little cars like Mini, and with its new look that (arguably) downplays the premiumness of the brand and tries to appeal to a more modern, youthful audience, the coloring works. Some 2024 models are still available in the Zesty Yellow we’re familiar with, but 2025 rolls in the new Sunny Side Yellow on the Mini Cooper Hardtop. We’ve also seen the shade on the new Mini Cooper Electric model.
19 Mitsubishi
Sand Yellow
Mitsubishi sells only a handful of models in the USA, and of those, only one gets a yellow coat of paint. The Mitsubishi Mirage Hatchback can be dressed up in Sand Yellow paint; sadly, nothing about that name, the color, or the car itself is particularly thrilling – although it remains one of the cheapest cars you can buy in 2024, is relatively spacious for it’s segment, and it’s frugal, to boot.
20 Nissan
Two-tone TriCoat
Nissan’s spicy coupe looks great in the two-tone Ikazuchi Yellow TriCoat paintwork; it comes standard with a Super Black contrasting roof. We love how well this works with the black paneling on the rear of the Nissan Z. For a car that’s supposed to epitomize fun, the yellow color works well.
