Make your shower tiles shiny again without scrubbing with this easy method

A woman has revealed a cost-effective mould-removing hack that avoids strenuous scrubbing and won’t strain your budget.

Mould tends to flourish in warm, damp areas with poor air circulation, commonly found in bathrooms.

People often notice black spots in window grouting, on shower or bath tiles, or perhaps their once pristine white grouting is now marred by mould.

Dealing with mould can be a challenging task, as it is stubborn and hard to keep at bay once it appears.

However, one woman claims to have discovered an affordable solution that doesn’t require intense scrubbing and can effectively remove mould from your home.

One unnamed woman took to a Facebook group dedicated to cleaning enthusiasts to share a picture of her mouldy grouting, seeking advice from group members on how to restore them to their original, pristine condition.

The suggestions poured in rapidly, with enthusiastic group members eager to share their cleaning ideas.

Recommendations included using toilet bowl cleaner on the grouting, while another person suggested re-sealing the tiles.

Undeterred, the woman decided to give some of these suggestions a try, determined to find a solution.

One of the hacks proved successful, as the woman reported that all it took was cotton wool and bleach to achieve the seemingly miraculous removal of mould.

She soaked cotton wool in bleach and placed it around the edges of the tiles, and the method worked effectively.

After leaving the improvised treatment with the cleaning product on the cotton wool overnight, the following morning, the transformation was clearly visible.

The cleaning enthusiast shared a side-by-side comparison of her original photo and a new picture post-treatment, showcasing the remarkable difference.

The poster wrote: “Thank you to everyone who has commented, I used cotton wool and bleach and have attached photos of the results. Wow!”
