Most Expensive New Cars You Can Buy In 2025

Whether you’re looking for the utmost luxury in a land yacht to end all land yachts, or the most insane hypercar money can buy, there’s a car out there for you, so long as you can afford it. There are more 500k cars for sale than you might expect. What used to be jaw-dropping and shocking turns numbing when the prices of these cars skyrocket from half a million dollars to one million and more.

The sad truth about these incredible machines lies in the fact that many will never be driven to their full potential. It’s fun to imagine racing a Bugatti Chiron around famous tracks, but those who can actually buy them tend to use them as idle investments more than automobiles. Nevertheless, here are ten cars for 500k that someone can buy in 2025.

Many manufacturers of cars at this level of wealth do not publish their prices online, so some of the models on this list are close estimations based on other reliable sources. We list these cars from least to most expensive.

10

Rolls-Royce Phantom

Base Price: $515,000

When looking for cars under 500k, some Rolls-Royce models fit the bill. Not the latest Phantom, though. This cruise ship on wheels is the most luxurious sedan the brand offers and comes decked-out in chrome, fine leather, and more luxury than a person could ever need. It’s one of those cars that you’d rather be driven around in instead of driving it yourself. The rear is the most comfortable place to be on a long commute, or a five-minute jaunt, with features like reclining seats with leg supports, a cooler for your champagne, and rear-hinged doors with a button inside to effortlessly close them. Even the driver finds their space comfortable, though, with all the same fine materials, and a smooth, but powerful engine under the hood.

9

Ferrari SF90 Stradale

Base Price: $593,000

The remainder of this list consists of sports cars, supercars, and hypercars, with the next entry being the Ferrari SF90 Stradale. Among the cars that cost 500k or more are a few Ferrari models, but this unit stands out as one of the most impressive plug-in hybrids of this decade so far. Of course, the words “impressive” and “PHEV” don’t usually go together unless you’re talking about fuel economy, but we promise the electric motors on this Ferrari provide about two hundred horsepower by themselves and assist in launching the SF90 with instant torque.

Lamborghini Revuelto

Base Price: $604,363

The last model that comes close to being a 500,000-dollar car on this list is the Lamborghini Revuelto. This is a direct competitor to the SF90 Stradale we just mentioned. It’s powered by another plug-in hybrid system, although this time the three electric motors assist a 6.5-liter V12 engine for a total output of 1,001 horsepower. It shares classic wedge-shaped styling with other Lamborghini models, like the Countach and Diablo, but is modernized through the use of Y-shaped DRLs and aeroblades linked to the splitter. The Revuelto’s main draw is, of course, its powertrain, but the interior is packed with features and it’snot too harsh to drive on public roads.

7

Aston Martin Valhalla

Base Price: ~$1,000,000

In a traditionally beautiful turn of events, the Aston Martin Valhalla is our first car to break seven digits. Some manufacturers have wild, angular, or artistic approaches to their cars, but Aston Martin turned to long, curving lines that sweep from one end to the other. The Valhalla has a low, broad stance with a focus on creating as much downforce as possible through a large, sleek, integrated rear wing just behind the top-mounted exhaust. Enough about the design, though, because this elegant beast is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 hybrid that makes over a thousand horsepower and over eight-hundred lb-ft of torque that launches it from 0-60 in just two and a half seconds.

6

Pagani Utopia

Base Price: $2,190,000

With a top speed of 217 miles per hour, the Utopia is one of the fastest cars Pagani has ever produced. As the brand’s newest model, this hypercar blends art with performance. Every body panel is made from carbon fiber for a lightweight construction, the interior still looks like an airplane’s cockpit, and its mid-mounted engine screams through a quad-tip exhaust in the middle of the rear bumper. The Utopia uses a Mercedes-derived powertrain – a 6.0-liter V12 that makes over 850 horsepower – and its construction is so beautifully displayed behind the front seats. While one could drive this with a seven-speed gated manual, Pagani provides an automated seven-speed single-clutch that shifts seamlessly for easier driving around town.

5

Ferrari Daytona SP3

Base Price: $2,223,935

Ferrari keeps bringing the heat with the Daytona SP3. If only Ferrari had made more units, then we might have actually seen one in person before they were all sealed away in a pristine, LED-lit tomb. That goes for about this whole list, though. The first 499 units were already pre-allocated to the owners of previous models, and the next 100 units were open to other high-profile Ferrari owners. Regardless of who got one, we hope they will let the engine breathe some day and allow the rest of the world to see them in person.

Gordon Murray Automotive T.33 Spider

Base Price: $2,400,000

One of the best roadsters ever made, with more elegant bodywork and a thoroughly engaging experience, is the Gordon Murray Automotive T.33 Spider. This is one of those cars that truly sits in a class of its own, remarked by some to be the spiritual successor of the mighty McLaren F1. Much like the McLaren, the T.33 Spider makes zero compromise on driving pleasure. In an attempt to focus on pure driving spirit, GMA opted to abstain from filling the cabin with screens and an abundance of comfort features – that way, the driver can wholeheartedly enjoy listening to its 3.9-liter V12 scream all the way to 11,000 RPM as they row through the gears of a six-speed manual.

3

Ferrari F80

Base Price: $3,100,000

The last Ferrari we’ll mention today is the F80 – another mid-engine hybrid-powered beast with less traditional styling. Sure, they could have fitted a V12 under the hood and made a thousand horsepower, but the engineers on this project thought better. A 3.0-liter hybrid six-cylinder manages to push out 1,200 horsepower; what’s especially impressive is the V6’s ability to produce 900 of that horsepower on its own. On the inside, this car is really designed for one person. It only features a single real seat, but there is technically room for a passenger.

Bugatti Chiron Noire

Base Price: ~$3,300,000

Bugatti makes numerous Chirons, but one of the best-looking versions, in our opinion, is the Noire. This version is just as intense under the hood as any other model with a W16, but features a more luxurious interior and an all-black design to fly under the radar. Aside from styling that would make Batman cry tears of joy, the mechanical qualities remain identical to the standard Chiron. That means a huge W16 connected to a dual-clutch transmission that turns all four wheels at nearly 1,500 horsepower. If you ever get the chance to drive this at a track, don’t be disappointed at a governed top speed because the limit is still at about 260 mph.

1

Bugatti Bolide

Base Price: ~$4,700,000

While there are certainly one-off hypercars that fetch more money than the Bugatti Bolide, this is the most expensive production car currently on sale. Starting at an estimated $4.7 million, the Bolide is made from pure unobtanium for all but the top 0.1% in the world. Wrapping up its quad-turbocharged W16 engine is a thrilling exterior that features X-shaped LED headlights, a dimpled roof scoop, and body lines inspired by Formula 1 cars. The pre-production concept theorized a top speed of well over 300 mph, but the production model lost a few hundred horsepower, thereby dropping its top speed.
