Mum’s genius £1.50 car cleaning hack using Boots item leaves parents ‘amazed’
A clever mum has shared an easy hack to keep your car mats spotless and all you need is an item from Boots costing just £1.50.
Posting on TikTok to her 141,000 followers, the cleaning whizz known as Newbie and Me revealed how to stop muddy pram wheels from dirtying your car boot or car mats.
In the video, the voiceover says: “Parents, do you have this problem?”
The footage shows a buggy being pushed along a path before cutting to a woman looking down at the dirty wheels, according to The US Sun.
It adds: “This life hack will keep your car clean from muddy pram wheels.”
The mum then beams as she holds up a couple of shower caps.
For the cheap and easy hack, the post recommends: “First fold your pram and place it on the boot.
“Then cover your pram wheels with shower caps.”
Many posts praised the idea, with one saying: “That’s actually genius! Hope I can find ones big enough to fit my massive oversized pram.”
Another wrote: “Thank you. Great idea.”
