Next-Gen Dodge Charger Teased In New Holiday Commercial

Without any V8s to choose from, Stellantis’ new Hurricane inline-six engines will do duty in the new Charger. As a reminder, this engine is available in two states of tune. The base version produces a respectable 400 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque (in Standard Output guise) and 500 hp and 475 lb-ft in the High Output version.

While that’s impressive, Hellcat and SRT fans are used to considerably more muscle and will expect the same, if not more. Luckily, Stellantis has confirmed that a more powerful engine is in the works. This will likely be reserved for higher trims of the ICE-powered Charger and the RAM RHO, the replacement for the beloved TRX.

Let’s not forget a Chrysler 300 replacement, based on the Charger, will also arrive soon.

We won’t have to wait long before the Charger arrives, with the video noting it will be available in “late 2024.”
