As Toyota’s luxury division, Lexus is not a company typically associated with affordability. If you’re looking at a Lexus as your next set of wheels, you can typically expect a fairly steep price given the brand’s premium character and emphasis on deluxe features. However, not all cars in the Lexus family come with an eye-watering price tag. Eight cars in the Lexus lineup for the 2025 model years are available with a starting price under the $60,000 mark. Here is an overview of these models, from the most expensive to the cheapest. All the starting prices exclude the delivery charge, processing, and handling fees.

8 Lexus TX

Starting MSRP: $55,140

For drivers who need enough space for a family road trip without compromising on luxury, the Lexus TX SUV offers three rows of seating alongside a variety of comfort-oriented features, including NuLuxe or semi-aniline leather upholstery, heated front seats, and a digital rearview mirror (with the optional Technology package). The non-hybrid TX is only available with one choice of powertrain: a turbocharged, 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine producing 275 horsepower, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The TX is available in both FWD and AWD versions.

There is also a hybrid version available, the TX 500h, which combines the 2.4-liter engine with two electric motors to produce a combined output of 366 hp. A plug-in hybrid model known as the 550h+ delivers 404 hp combined. However, all the TX hybrids exceed the $60k mark.

7 Lexus RX

Starting MSRP: $48,975

The Lexus RX is a midsize luxury crossover with a spacious, comfortable interior and a host of safety features including a collision detection system and blind spot monitoring system. The RX is powered by a 275-hp, turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. While FWD is standard, AWD is available as an option. The following hybrid models are also available:

• RX 350 h: 246 hp combined
• RX 450h+ plug-in hybrid: 304 hp combined
• RX 500h: 366 hp combined

6 Lexus RC

Starting MSRP: $44,770

The Lexus RC offers a high-quality, comfortable interior even in its cheapest version, with dual-zone climate control and power-adjustable front seats offered as standard features in all trim levels. The basic infotainment system comes with an eight-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Amazon Alexa as standard; available upgrades include a Premium audio package, which comes with a 17-speaker stereo, a larger 10.3-inch)screen, and navigation. This does, however, increase the price tag by $2,725.

The Lexus RC’s lowest trim level, the RC 300, is powered by a turbocharged 241-hp four-cylinder engine, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission sending power to the rear wheels. The optional AWD layout comes with a naturally aspirated 260-hp V6, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. The next upward jump in power comes with the RC 350 version, which produces 311 hp. All V6 versions also start at under $60k.

5 Lexus RZ​​​​​​

Starting MSRP: $42,800

Lexus’ first electric vehicle, the RZ, embodies the Lexus spirit of understated luxury and comfort, carrying it over into the electric era. Viewed as too expensive when launched, Lexus has dramatically slashed the prices of the RZ for the 2025 model year, while also introducing a cheaper base model that starts at $42,800. The new base trim is the RZ 300e with FWD.

The RZ comes with a host of features aimed at creating a comfortable experience, and you can upgrade to more luxurious Premium and Luxury trims. The former already offers a high-level experience for its occupants, with features including a panoramic sunroof, but upgrading to the Luxury trim adds further finishing touches such as a premium stereo and multi-colored ambient lighting. Outputs range from 201 hp in the base, single-motor model to 308 hp in the dual-motor RZ 450e.

4 Lexus ES

Starting MSRP: $42,040

The Lexus ES sedan is a (relatively) affordable but still luxurious vehicle. It offers a plush, roomy interior and a range of 15 trim levels to choose from, from the basic to the (in Lexus’ own words) “Ultra Luxury”. While the former’s interior is plush enough to cocoon passengers on a long-distance road trip without any issues, the latter adds further luxury features for superior comfort, such as quilted upholstery, a powered rear sunshade, an upgraded steering wheel, a hands-free trunk lid, and an infotainment system with a larger 12.3-inch screen.

Three choices of powertrain are available: a 203-hp, 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine (which comes with AWD as standard), a 302-hp, 3.5-liter V6 (paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and a FWD configuration), or a 215-hp hybrid powertrain (also FWD, with a CVT transmission).

3 Lexus NX

Starting MSRP: $40,815

Sharing a platform with the Toyota RAV4, the Lexus NX is a spacious, comfortable crossover SUV; the roomy cabin offers plenty of space for passengers to stretch out, and a host of optional luxury features are available, including a panoramic sunroof and ambient lighting. The NX has four choices of powertrain available (two ICE-only and two hybrids). The gas-powered options include the base-level NX 250 (with a 203-hp, 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine) and the NX 350 (with a 275-hp turbocharged four-cylinder engine). Both come with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The two hybrid options include the NX 350h (with a 240-hp powertrain that pairs the 2.5-liter engine with two electric motors), or the NX 450h+ (a 304-hp plug-in hybrid version).

2 Lexus IS

Starting MSRP: $40,185

Occupying second place on the list of most affordable models is the Lexus IS, a compact RWD sedan that offers a good balance of comfort and performance. With little storage space due to its compact size, and limited legroom in the rear seats, it may not be the first choice of vehicle for a long-distance road trip, but the IS’ cabin still offers all the comfort expected of a Lexus, with high-quality materials, dual-zone climate control, power front seats and Bluetooth connectivity. The IS is available with four choices of engine: a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 241 hp, a V6 making 260 hp or 311 hp, or a 472-hp V8 engine (only available with RWD, unlike the first three which are also available as AWD).

1 Lexus UX

Starting MSRP: $36,340

The UX hybrid is the smallest model produced by Lexus, as well as the cheapest; this subcompact SUV offers the Lexus experience to urban drivers who want the benefits of a crossover, such as a slightly higher ride height, without compromising on maneuverability or fuel economy. The UX’s lowest trim still comes with a comfortable, luxurious interior that includes features such as power-adjustable front seats and dual-zone climate control. The experience can, however, be upgraded for a price, with additional options including a head-up display, heated and ventilated front seats, and higher quality materials dotted throughout the interior. The Lexus UX is powered by a hybrid powertrain that produces 196 hp, with a CVT transmission and a choice of either FWD or AWD.
